A few words about our art gallery located in Honfleur in Normandy

Galerie Boudin, taken over in 1981 by Luc Verdier, is the former Galerie Braquehaye, run since 1937 by Germaine and Bernard Braquehaye, succeeding his parents, whose commercial activities date back to the 1880s. During these years, the Gallery has dedicated itself to the defense of our regional painters:

The "Painters of the Estuary" of the 19th and 20th centuries, such as Gernez, Henri de Saint-Delis, Bigot, Coutaud, Dries, Fillon, Grau-Sala, Lagar, Roland Oudot, Lamotte, Lavoine, Loriot and Verspecht exhibited regularly on the picture rails of the gallery during their life, and most of the painters of the Estuary began there.

Since 1982, Luc Verdier has also exhibited "Les Peintres de Rouen". It is Honfleur and our Seine Estuary who created this link between the "Painters of the Estuary" and our Gallery, and it is this link that we invite you to discover through our exhibitions and on our walls and , I hope, soon on yours.

You will discover, over the course of the exhibitions, the beautiful landscapes of Honfleur as well as the famous Estuary, painted by talented painters from the region, sensitive to the beauty of these settings.
